Using different learning approaches, trainers can help young people understand the food choices they make, healthy eating, food safety and why being active is important. There are three modules.
Balanced diet - Healthy eating made simple
Concepts such as the can be difficult to understand. And even more difficult to apply to everyday life. This module uses everyday food and meals to explain what the food groups are and their role in maintaining a balanced diet.

Food safety in everyday life
We all know what it's like to get a dose of food poisoning. It can be very unpleasant and even worse, life-threatening. This module explains how food poisoning can occur and what we can do to avoid it.

Physical activity & energy balance - Be active, stay healthy
Being active sometimes falls to the bottom of the to-do list. It can seem like it is difficult to organise and not much fun! This module explains why being active is important and where the energy we need comes from.
